What I’m Reminiscing About
Riley and I took a little trip to Fort Worth and were able to visit the baseball field to show Haisley where her daddy spent lots of his college days. I thought this was the sweetest pic of her pointing to her daddy’s all american picture! So many sweet memories made on this field.

What We’ve Been Up To
October is a a huge celebration in our family! We celebrate 4 birthdays and it always makes my mom heart so happy because I have them all together so much. Of course there were also the cutest little pumpkins and Dillon filled my freezer with his first deer shot with a bow.
What I’m Working On
Our master bathroom remodel! I showed off the hexagon tile I chose for the floor in the September What’s up Wednesday and now the bathtub has also arrived! This renovation is scheduled to start on Monday and I’m super excited. We have updated this bathroom quite a bit but the floors, a new tub and new cabinet fronts will be changed.
What I’m Listening To
I typically listen to podcast when I’m out walking and I’ve been slacking on that and thus haven’t really been listening to podcasts at all. Need some new faves!
What I’m Watching/Reading
It has been a slow reading month for me and I’ve been reading this same book all month! It is the 3rd in a series and so far the best in my opinion. They are all rom com but this one definitely has had the best character development and story line.
And of course I’ve been watching the World Series!
What I’m Wearing
I am in LOVE with this new green sweater! It was a splurge for me even on sale but it’s so darling with the gold buttons and ruffle neck.
These pants have been a favorite in my closet for 2 years and I noticed they are available again in an almost identical style and in a fun olive color too. They are so versatile and can be dressed up or down. Of course a denim jacket is another staple in my closet for sure and this year they have this darling maroon color. I grabbed this short sleeve mock neck top that has been perfect for layering in Texas.
What I’m Doing this Weekend
Keith and I are headed to this little cabin in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I’m looking forward to doing alot of relaxing and some hiking.
What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month
It’s been 10 years since I’ve been to NYC but we are heading there for the week of Thanksgiving and I’m so excited. Carly will be participating in the Macys parade and I’m so excited to share the city with my girls. I’m also cracking up that it looks like it’s a 10 year trend for bangs to come back around!

I grabbed this sweater from Amazon and it is so soft! The puckered sleeves are darling and it comes in so many colors and 2 different necklines.
