Loft Style
I scored a few new items from the Loft sale recently and I am totally in love! I have already worn both this week and know they will definitely be price per wear winners for me this spring and summer.
First up is this precious dress! I seriously cannot say enough about how much I love this dress! This dress is now on clearance for an additional 40% off here but it is a final sale item. The fit is so flattering and the flounce bottom gives it a little extra sass. I ordered it originally in regular and tall and in two sizes as sometimes Loft runs large. It was true to size for me and the regular length was plenty long despite it looking short on the model. I added a black jacket similar to this one at White House Black Market. My wedge sandals are Dolce Vita from last year and you can see a similar look here.
I added a pop of color with my Stella & Dot serenity drop earrings in green. Loft has $25 off all dresses and there are lots of other fun options you can find here. I always, always read the reviews and typically they are right on for Loft clothing and I end up saving myself the hassle of returning.
My second favorite purchase…these shorts!! I have wanted a pair of shorts that had the layered lace look but that is tricky at 45. Too short or too lacy and I look like I’m trying to dress like my daughter. These are perfect! They come in navy here. I also scored a pair of Sam Edelman nude sandals for $39.95 similar to these at Marshalls after receiving a tip from a friend.
I’m loving this look with the striped top and floral scarf. I need some more floral in my closet! This cognac cross body bag (also in black) is also going to see lots of action. It’s the perfect size to fit everything I need for short outings. I’m also wearing these Kate Spade studs which Nordstrom is currently price matching and they come in lots of colors.
I thought I would show how these shorts could also be dressed up a little for date night by adding a jacket and a fun shell . It didn’t quite come together the way I envisioned but hopefully you get the idea! By the way, Nordstrom is also price matching Kendra Scott earrings right now even the exact style I’m wearing here. I am still on the hunt for some reasonably priced wedges to replace my favorites from last year. ‘
