I’ve been itching to co-host the weekly Thursday Fashion Files with Jill and Carrie for some time now and finally made it onto the calendar! This purple dress has been in my closet for several years. I have a little thing for purple after Riley decided to go to TCU (Go Frogs) and ended up grabbing every time I had the chance.

I love how fun this color is on it’s own. I found this Everly dress on sale; it’s lined AND it has pockets so it was a big plus for me! See how I first styled it here.
But it also plays so well with other colors! I love how it pops against the turquoise. I love wearing with booties like my fave peep toes now back in stock and on sale! It also works so well with heels or dressed down with sandals for the warmer months like I did here. Temps are mild in the winter in Texas but adding a herringbone vest, scarf and tall boots such as here at least stretches this through the winter months as well.
I think my favorite, though, is pairing it with the leopard! So fun!
Hmm…but maybe I need to find something green to pair it with too!
