The Queen’s Chronicles – Christmas Day

Christmas morning was a little different this year and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a little hard on this mom’s heart to wake up without all my babies for the first time. We made the best of it with just the four of us and some things stayed the same like mini chicken and waffles and our favorite breakfast casserole. Of course we also watched A Christmas Story and a few other movies before getting ready for Christmas part 2.

This crew celebrated their 1st Christmas as a family of three on Christmas morning at home.

Jordan & Jonathan celebrated at home with their fur babies who were not very cooperative for pics!

Carly has been takng a culinary class at high school this year and sent me a picture a few weeks back asking if she could make this charcuterie board. It turned out so cute and was a big hit to tied us over until the lasagna was served for dinner.

We enjoyed an afternoon hanging out together and playing corn hole on our Christmas present! Jordan’s boyfriend made these beauiful boards for us and we were so excited.

Of course Haisley was the main entertainment and there was no shortage of aunties willing to entertain her! She was seriously so excited about opening presents or maybe just tearing the paper. Regardless, we all gathered round to sit and watch her open all her gifts!

Love any chance I have to get this crew all together. Christmas may have been a little different but this is always the best gift.

The day after Christmas we traveled to my hometown to enjoy Christmas with my mom. It was a quick trip for this crew but I am always so thankful they make it happen. She cannot stop talking about how cute Haisley is!

Only a few more days remain in 2020 and I’ve been doing a lot of deep thinking as I prepare for where I would like to see myself in 2021. Who knew when I planned my word for 2020, FREE, it would ultimately mean something so different!

Hope to wrap up 2020 with my faves of the year this week! Hope you had an amazing Christmas holiday.
