MOG Dress + Style Six
Long time no post! Friends, I’ve been living in the moment and the blog has been the last thing on my mind so thanks to any of you still stopping by. My son got married over the weekend and it was a picture perfect day. I thought I would share my mother of the groom (MOG) dress with you today for our weekly style six linkup.
Today is also the anniversary of this guys heart attack so I feel like that has to be mentioned. So glad to be waking up in a little less of a panic this year with a husband in much better health! You can read all about our heartattack story here.
When I started the dress shopping for a mother of the groom dress I was extremely frustrated. We went to several high end dress shops and I tried on lots of maybes but they were all in thee $400-$800 range and none of them made me feel great. As the mother of the groom (or the bride for that matter) you want to feel great on the day of the wedding!
Finally, I took a chance and ordered this dress even though I felt certain there had to be something wrong with it as it was marked down to $75! How excited do you think I was when it checked every single box?! So excited that I splurged on these amazing shoes!
