TBB Asks – Fall Favorites
Do you love fall? Well October 1st has arrived and even though the weather in Texas has not really gotten the memo. It is my birthday month so I’m always feeling a little more peppy each day in October. So if you are a fall freak like me, join The Blended Blog today and answer these prompts about fall!
one | favorite fall treat – most definitely it will include pumpkin spice! Now, I’m not a PSL girl but give me some pumpkin space Life cereal, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins or even a plain old pumpkin pie and I’m a happy camper!
two | red, yellow or green apples – okay, y’all, I’ve never heard of a yellow apple! Am I the only one? I love red apples the best but typically the gala apple variety.
three | favorite fall sport to play – hmmm….I’m going to go with anything that gets me outside to enjoy the lower humidity and temps. When I decided to run a couple of half marathons I made sure the training would be in the fall.
four | best drink for fall – as I mentioned, I do not do the PSL but I do love some pumpkin spice tea in the evenings.
five | favorite fall activity – we have always loved going to the pumpkin patch and picking our pumpkin each year and when we actually make it a family affair to carve the pumpkin it’s even sweeter!
six | must have fall purchase – hands down mine is a pair of booties! This year these are my fave and they are currently on sale!
seven | pick your own pumpkin – well, we go to a pumpkin patch to “pick” ours but they are all just on the ground but it is an activity and not just the grocery store.
eight | real or fake pumpkin – definitely the real pumpkin for the carving and the front porch but last year Carly Jo and I had a blast making this one with crayons.
nine | favorite halloween costume – I haven’t dressed up in years but growing up I definitely preferred the scary costumes over the cute and I actually dressed as the exact witch two years in a row!
ten | college or NFL football – hands down I LOVE college football the best!
eleven | fall or halloween decor – well, this year there si nothing out yet at my house but typically I begin with fall decor and then mix in a few halloween pieces.
twelve | leaves or no leaves to rake – goodness do we have the leaves! They are already making a huge mess on my back porch. Funny story, we raked a huge pile in the back and I moved to the front when I suddenly saw smoke coming over the house. Keith got tired of bagging and just set those suckers on fire! Eek…you CANNOT do that in the city limits!
thirteen | favorite soup – definitely think chicken noodle would be my favorite!
fourteen | favorite fall candle – thinking right now I have to choose Pumpkin Pecan Waffles!
fifteen | love pumpkin spice – defer to number one!
sixteen | short or tall booties – who am I to play favorites?!! I love all boots and all boot weather. Cannot wait until it’s cool enough to pull the tall boots out but for now I’m loving my booties.
seventeen | fave Halloween candy – my favorite candy any time is always Reeses peanut butter but I do love some candy corn this time of year.
eighteen | PSL – No thank you! Blah….I’ve tried multiple times but the fact is I don’t like sweet coffee period.
nineteen | hayride or corn maze – again, who am I to pick a favorite when they are both amazing! However, we haven’t been on a hayride in years but we have a sweet little corn maze right here in town and have gone the past two years with our besties!
twenty | favorite fall TV show – This is Us! So, so glad it’s back even though I haven’t caught up yet!
