How Do You Cozy? – TBB Asks Linkup
Oh sweet September, so happy to see you! I’m a warm weather gal so I don’t mind summer so much but I love me some fall. College football, crisper air (are you feeling me Texas) and we head into birthday season around here with 5 out of the 6 of us turning a year older! While the temps will likely not change much this month, I’m lighting my favorite candles and thinking about getting cozy! The Blended Blog asks how do you cozy so I jumped right in to answer! ONE | No cold feet for me! I have these slippers and love they are durable enough for those unexpected trips out to the car or the mailbox.
TWO | A blanket for me needs to be super soft for me to fall in love. Target has been my go to for the past few years as the quality and the price has been right on. I love this super plush throw and actually have a buffalo plaid similar to this one in black and white everyone fights over! If you really want to be cozy on those super cold days, an electric throw is perfect. I actually have one at work to use when that place turns into a meat locker in the winter time. Bonus, you can shop some bedding today up to 30% off! They make such super gifts too. This one is not on sale but definitely think it fits all my qualifications!
THREE | Hmm…I’d say I’m kind of in between. A few years back when we bought our new tempurpedic mattress it came with two pillows. I definitely had always slept with either a thicker pillow or two pillows stacked until switching to this one and now I have a hard time if I don’t drag this one with me. Pricey? Absolutely and I would never have even tried one on my own but I have been using for about 5 years I think without having to replace and it has not lost any shape or firmness.
FOUR | Coffee is pretty much my go to year round but I will venture out in the fall for a pumpkin spice chai and have grabbed this Tazo tea the past few seasons. While I love some coffee, I don’t drink it sweet so if I do venture into Starbucks I’m the girl asking for just 1/2 a pump of pumpkin spice in an Americano.
FIVE | Well, my answer would have always been heck yes but recently my sweet little hormones don’t particularly care for my robe. I typically toss one of my barefoot dreams cardis over my pj’s if I’m feeling a chill in the mornings as they are fairly lightweight.
SIX | Oh goodness, this one is going to be hard! Dark chocolate is always a win for me but lately I’ve been on the Skinny Pop. I actually had to splurge and buy the package of single bags because I had zero self control with the large bag.
SEVEN | I’m actually not a TV girl. Wait, the truth is I do like to watch TV but it does not get priority over some of the other things I have going on. If I’m going to binge watch it’s definitely going to be something like Friends, Gilmore Girls, etc. Ever since repainting our bedroom in April we have not added the TV back and typically that is the only place I watched.
EIGHT | I do love some pj’s but there are just as many nights I am wearing a t-shirt and leggings! This past spring I bought a pair of these shorts pj’s in a different pattern and they have been worn heavily. So comfy and so soft and evidently you guys liked them too! My legs are super long so I definitely struggle to find pj pants that aren’t high waters. I’ve always grabbed at Victoria’s Secret or Old Navy since they offer long length but last year I grabbed some super soft legging type lounge pants from AE and loved them. How cute is this ruffle hem pair? I might just have to grab them while they are on sale and see how the length works.
NINE | Ever since we purchased our new sectional EVERYONE cozies up on the couch.
TEN | I would definitely say I’m 100% NOT a hoodie girl unless there is a zipper. I feel confined in a hoodie for some reason. Sweaters would probably be more my go to. Sweatshirts and hoodies are on sale 50% off today at Old Navy, however, and I may just have to grab a zipup hoodie in a lighter weight to try.
