Friday Favorites – 10.22.21
Happy Friday! This week our high school football game was moved to Thursday so I’m waking up all kinds of confused and disappointed it’s not Saturday. This week was so good as we celebrated Riley’s birthday on Monday, Taco Tuesday for my birthday and then Keith rounded it out on Wednesday. It’s always such a busy month but we kept it fairly low key this year. Here are a few things I’m loving lately to share with you for Friday Favorites!
This guy turned 28 on Monday night and we celebrated over dinner with his sweet little family. Baseball season is officially over and I’m so glad to have him back in town. I have missed seeing his face!
My darling friend Kellyann could not stop talking about this blazer while we were in Nashville. She has it in black and wore it multiple times while we were there so I had to give it a try. The cleaners recently ruined my white blazer so I decided to order in off white. This week she styled the white one and I knew it was a look I could easily pull together. Seriously, if you are needing a new blazer in your closet, I think this one is such a win for the price, quality and fit. So flattering! Of course, my dress pants are also a closet favorite of mine and pretty much the only dress pants I buy. I do size up in these and I’m also wearing them in a tall (I’m 5’7″ with long legs).
I’m not a huge pumpkin spice latte girl because I don’t really love my hot coffee to be sweet but I do love the smell and taste of pumpkin spice. My coffee got a fall upgrade this week after I found this pumpkin spice at Sams Club and decided to try it with my Nut Pods creamer. It has been a win!
I have been really trying to purge my closet of everything I don’t love and finally got around to trying out Poshmark. Y’all, it is so easy! It takes a little time to get rolling but now that I got the hang of it I’m posting away. As soon as an item sells, I receive and email with a pre-paid postage label, bag up the item and toss it in the mail. So far I have been fairly successful selling some things that have just been taking up space. Now, if I can just get better about not adding things that I’m not 100% in love with!
