Ebony and Ivory + TBB Linkup
May is winning! There, I said it. May is definitely winning this month y’all. We have 5 1/2 days left of school but still so many things on the calendar and I’m treading water as best I can. My brain if full of thoughts and ideas butting against the have to dos and want to dos and it all is just leaving me a bit exhausted. If you are winning May then I am so jealous of you!
To make life easier, I need an outfit to help me feel like I’ve got it together! Nothing is easier than combining a little ebony and ivory white. It always works and there are 100 different ways to get this same look. Start with white bottoms and add black on top or flip that right around. Use an all black base or an all white base and add a jacket in another color. It always works.
The trick for me is picking some fun accessories to make it feel a little spunkier. I love these shoes! Like they are worn out and I just can’t part with them. Last year I tried to grab a new pair on the first day of the anniversary sale and there was some issue with the overload of orders and mine got dropped. I’ve barely forgiven Nordstrom almost a year later. They seriously can make an outfit!
Jewelry can be simple yet still fun and such an easy way to pull the look together. I promise, a neutral pair of Kendra Scott earrings should be in your stash. This is the first pair of KS earrings I purchased and I would absolutely say they are the most worn pair of earrings I own.
So the moral of this story? Use the K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) rule even when you are getting dressed! You will still look precious and it will be one thing you can take off your plate!
