Cardigan Love in Fall Colors

Cardigan | Tee | Booties

When I saw this cardigan I knew I had to try it.  Not only did I snag for under $25 but anytime I find something with a hint of maroon I know I can make it work well in Aggieland.  Where I ran into a problem was deciding how to style it and what to wear underneath.  I can tell you for certain, while I love the darker maroon shade underneath, this top is not flattering paired with the cardigan.

I think the key to a bulkier cardigan is finding a more fitted top to pair underneath.  I’m thinking I need to try a cute tank or maybe even a fitted turtleneck for cooler days. Regardless, I love this piece and will continue to look for ways to style it until I find the right balance.  Any suggestions welcome!

My biggest challenge with cardigans is just never feeling like they fit me exactly right.  I want to love them but somehow it always seems they are not hanging correctly in the front or catching up on my “shelf” in the back.  Ha!  #pearshapeproblems  Of course you would not know this is a problem if you saw the number of cardigans hanging in my closet.  At least I’m not a quitter!

Of course pairing it with my favorite Toms booties was an easy choice and I never go wrong when I wear these shoes!  Choosing to pop in a little leopard is always a great idea too and this little clutch is one of my favorite pieces ever.  I’m kind of crushing on this crossbody and it may have to be added to my Christmas list!

With Turkey day around the corner, I’m thinking it would be adorable paired with a thankful tee.  Head on over to The Blended Blog to share an outfit you would wear for the coming holiday.  Fall Cardigan #fallstyle #targetstyle Fall Cardigan #fallstyle #targetstyle
