Ageless Style – Let’s Celebrate!
It’s December! Give me any month when there will be gifts and I’m all in. Add to it we are able to celebrate Jesus and I’m filled with joy. For this months Ageless Style we also have something else to celebrate….our sweet Jodie is celebrating a birthay! She suggested a virtual party and I was all about a chance to drink wine while I write my blogpost!
So hopefully she’s not too disapointed with me for keeping it a tad on the casual side even for her big party. I needed a look that would work for the office but also transition to a holiday party. This look still says I’m ready to get the party started to me!
The velvet jeans came to me last fall in a Stitch Fix box just in time for a holiday look. I love that they are velvet but are still cut with a jean fit. They are super comfortable! The brand is Kut and they probably are a tad bit too short but I’m going with it!
Can we talk about this top for a second though? I would have never grabbed this ivory beauty off the rack but the girls at one of my fave local boutiques stuck it in my dressing room. Y’all, it is so cute on and has just the slightest hint of a shimmer. I think it would look so fabulous with some red pants or even the plaid skirt I recently scored from Stitch Fix.
Of course, I’m not sure a year has gone by since I’ve been blogging that I haven’t styled this faux fur vest one way or another. Every year I swear I’m going to donate it and then every year I fall in love with it in a different way! I feel like it just pops with the ivory top.
