Merry Looks

Holiday gatherings seem to just pop up out of nowhere this time of year and I’ve been really trying to follow my own tips for dressing with joy this season without doing too much damage to my bank account.  

Today I’m sharing a look I pulled together for a party this week with items already in my closet and topped with this maroon kimono I purchased months ago and intended to return but managed to lose the receipt!  Came in handy this week even though I’m still not sure I’m a duster kind of girl.  

I also pulled together a few looks from years past to show you it doesn’t take a lot of overthinking to pull off a merry look.   A pop of red here or there, some plaid is always a win and you can’t go wrong with a little shimmer.  Of course some faux fur just takes an otherwise boring black outfit and gives it a little holiday flare.
