While we are still soaking up the last few weeks of summer, my closet is officially ready for fall. I love scoring fall merchandise on sale ahead of the season during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and this year I found some items I know will be quick favorites!
Of course everyone’s favorite, the “Blardigan”, as deemed by Sheaffer at Pinterest Told Me Too almost two years ago. I received my first for Christmas last year and this one will be in the rotation for 2015. I am loving the oatmeal color and it will be perfect on Saturday mornings as I lounge around drinking coffee. This color sold out initially but it appears it has been restocked! These make super gifts for moms, sisters, you name it if she likes soft and snuggly she will love it!
I paired this outfit with these Lucky Brand booties. I ordered tons of booties and boots to try and these are definitely keepers. They are super comfortable and a great color. I ordered true to size and there are 4 colors to choose from but limited sizing remaining.
The Wit & Wisdom jeans are a favorite! I have a pair from last spring and I loved them so much so I snagged this pair in a size smaller. If you are on the border between 2 sizes I would order down. They have just the right amount of stretch and hold their shape but I definitely like the smaller size. They are super comfy and flattering for a mom body.
I’ve seen other bloggers talk about this BP soft shirt for months but never tried it until ordering from the sale. The white and chambray initially sold out but it looks like they have restocked! I know they won’t last long This shirt came balled up and wrinkled and I literally fluffed in the drier and most of the wrinkles came out. If you need a white or chambray shirt I think this one is a winner. My jeans are Treasure & Bond from last season and I love them.
I ordered these Sam Edelman booties to try and they are so much cuter in person. Also in 4 colors, I ordered this one to try something new and I wasn’t so sure about it until I paired with the white shirt and my leopard belt! I’m still not 100% sure these are going to make their home in my closet but I’m definitely thinking it over.
This Splendid Colorblock poncho is probably in my top 3 of items purchased. It is lightweight and soft and I think it will be worn a ton this fall and winter. I can hardly wait to mix it up for a winter white outfit. I’m fairly confident the Frye boots are an investment I am going to make as well. They are super comfy and smell so good!
I loved this waterfall cardigan especially since it came in a burgundy shade. Around here anything close to maroon is a winner come football season! For $29.90 I thought it was a winner. I paired here with the BP Booties in black and they are hard to see but have cute heel and tassel. They also come in several colors and I purchased the chocolate for Jordan’s birthday. Sizes are limited but they were comfortable and I am still debating whether they are THE black booties for me.
I am contemplating whether I love the BP Booties or these Biala booties better. They arrived and are so much cuter in person!
These Ugg tall boots are also super cute and comfy if you are needing something with a heel. I remembered last week mine from last year were 3 years old and were not able to stretch a 4th year. These would be an investment I would hope would last for several season.
I didn’t take a picture of me trying this Halogen sweater on but it is adorable! The colors are so perfect and it is lightweight enough for layering.
I wish I could share every single item I tried on with you guys but that would take days! My favorite thing about shopping at Nordstrom is the free shipping and free return “no questions asked” policy. I love trying on the clothes at home!
