Wearing Lately + TBB Style Linkup
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a good what I’m wearing lately post and since we are upon that season in Texas when you might be dressing for 40 degrees in the morning and 85 in the afternoon it’s the perfect time to show off a few looks that transition easily.
I own three of these swing dresses and constantly have to hold back from buying more! They are perfect for layering but will last all summer in the Texas heat. I am able to wear with a jacket to work as they are a decent length but it’s also adorable to wear to, say, an Astros spring training game? Ha! Anytime I can get double wear in an outfit it’s a plus for me!
Obviously orange was popular for a reason on our recent trip to West Palm Beach, but I would love this top regardless. I wore this outfit to the last game we attended before heading straight for the airport and it was perfect. These pants have gotten a little big but this pair just arrived and I can’t wait to see how they compare.
As soon as we returned from Florida I literally repacked and headed out the next day for a leadership conference. The dress was primarily business casual and it wasn’t hard to decide to grab this lightweight sweater for the trip. I’m also kind of loving ankle pants right now with the weather we’ve been having. A pedicure definitely needs to be high on the priority list if I’m going to keep busting out the open toe booties! They are so perfect for transitioning between winter and spring.
We headed out as a group to a casual dinner at the National Cowgirls Museum where we were having dinner and hearing from a congresswoman Kay Grainger so I decided black jeans and a nice top worked perfectly. My booties are the original Vince Camutos from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but it’s hard to tell these dupes apart. I have so many of these tops. They work so well to dress up jeans but also look nice paired with dress pants or a skirt.
Our last night we headed to Joe T Garcias which is a must if you are in Fort Worth. The food is delicious and the margaritas perfect! I am kind of crushing on this new camo clutch. This sweater is seriously a big favorite right now as it is lightweight but still feels cozy. It works with jeans, leggings but I think I could also wear with shorts. Just be sure to size down, I wear a small.
I could go on an on but I am sure you are probably at the end of your attention span! Ha! I’ve been loving pulling outfit together lately. With the changing season everything just feels so fresh and new. Hope you gathered a little inspiration from what I’ve been waring lately!
Would love to know what are you most needing to add to your spring/summer wardrobe? Right now I need new athletic shoes, wedges and sandals!
