The Queen’s Chronicles

·
Well…Spring Break is officially over and it’s back to the real world today.  We’ve had a great time since I last updated the Queen’s Chronicles.  I will be posting a little more detail about or Spring Break fun later this week but here is a quick look at what  we have been up to!
Carly Jo had school pictures and she was super proud to fix her own hair.  Of course yesterday I was telling my friend Holly about it and Carly informed me she had taken it all down before her picture. This girl…we are going to have some fun times the next few years.
I received this picture from Riley’s grandparents who drove out to Florida for a week to catch a glimpse of our little minor leaguer.  Aren’t they precious?!!
I couldn’t help but share this sweet picture.  The Friday before Spring Break Dillon walked Carly into school so he could say hello to his 4th grade teacher.  How crazy is it that he is so much taller than she is now?  We have been so blessed to have her teach both Dillon & Carly.
Then it was off to Orlando for us!
We dipped our toes in the Atlantic at Cocoa Beach
Visited the Kennedy Space Center
Had our first visit to Disney World
While the boys were catching big fish!!
Caught dinner with these cuties
Tackled a 2nd day at Disney with the whole crew
This is the last place my man would want to be but he was such a good sport and I was excited to take a spin with him.
Watched Riley toss a few at practice
Dropped this sweet girl off at the airport so she could get back to school.
Carly enjoyed the pool at our hotel while Dillon chose to sleep…teenagers!  The only thing better about hotel pools on vacation is having a dad at the pool on vacation!!
We closed down Disney
We closed out our trip watching the Astros play the Nationals before heading home.
Of course our first stop was Mexican food!  Since Keith works in Round Rock and we didn’t get to Austin until almost 8pm we decided to spend the night.
We hit up Top Golf before heading back to College Station.  I just love seeing these two get along even if it is in brief spurts!
Hmmmm…..did I order all this stuff before I left?!!   Oops
My Dutch was not about to leave my side once I arrived.
Girls breakfast for St. Patrick’s Day but this girl has her own mind and wasn’t the least bit interested in wearing green.
Dropped Dillon and a friend off at a local pond for fishing.  This boy eats, sleeps and dreams about fishing right now!
I finally made it to look at material to go with our bathroom granite and replace the shower in our master.  Not looking forward to dropping the $$ but it needs to be redone so bad.
Made myself some lists…..and put them somewhere I will have to look at every day until they are done!
Picked something fun to wear for our girls weekend to Fort Worth.
Stopped on Hwy 6 to take some pictures of these cuties in the bluebonnets.
My favorite time of year to drive around Texas!
Spent the weekend hanging with our besties and celebrating Holden’s 11th birthday!
And of course there was more Mexican food!
 Lots of sightseeing!
And even an armadillo race with my bestie!  We are fun girls y’all!
Of course we could not go to Fort Worth without stopping by a TCU baseball game.  It’s always extra special to see your brother’s picture on the wall of All Americans.
A friend is someone who allows you to be exactly who you are and loves you anyway….these girls are such a fun example of friendship.  They are honest (sometimes to a fault) with each other, laugh together, encourage each other and truly balance each other out.  I can’t tell you how many times this weekend Holly & I watched them and then looked at each other and said “they are us”.  Feeling blessed by our besties!
Whew….that was a lot. If you hung in there until the end you are a trooper and I thank you!
Hope you have a super week!
