The Queen’s Chronicles – Snippet

Last week was somewhat ordinary, yet still so many fun things to document. I love using The Queen’s Chronicles to keep a little scrapbook of what’s going on in our lives so here is a little snippet from our week.

Junior Parking Spot

Our high school let’s any student purchase a reserved parking spot they are able to then personalize. Initialy, Carly was okay with leaving hers and waiting to paint one until senior year but people continued to park in her spot. It was blazing hot last Sunday but we were able to get a simple design completed and it’s definitely bright enough to keep others out!

It’s always a good day when you show up to workout and you match your trainer! MMM, or Master My Macros, is a nutrition program I’ve been using since January to try to “shred” fat. A new round starts September 25th if you are interested in learning more about it. Heather & Amy own a few PureBarre studios but have a huge passion for this program. Heather is also deep on the science side and definitely interested in the hormonal side for women in perimenopause through menopause. I’ve learned alot. I am not sponsored in any way on this by the way….just have loved the accountability and knowledge this program has shared.

Serving The Bridge Ministries #NCL #nationalcharitylleague

Carly and I are part of our local National Charity League. Last year, we barely served 10 hours together and I was adamant we had to be more intentional this year. We set a goal to at least serve once each month and four months in we have already logged 15 together! I love serving with her and making this part of our month has been a joy.

Aggie Football

We had some friends come in town for the game so we decided to also go for the first time in a long whille! I loved stopping by to grab a hurricane from my friend Stephanie’s tailgate and it must have definitely helped BTHO Miami!

Aggieland

Dillon and his girlfried Deylani joined us for the game! Aren’t they just adorable? And then we also were able to catch up with our besties at the game and Holly snapped the pic below of our boys. Even though neither of them are actually in school here, they have grown up going to games together and it’s been a hot minute since they have both been at the same time. I had to include a pic of them from 13 years ago! Same sweet smiles!

In other news, it’s a big birthday week around here! Carly Jo is turning 17 on Thursday! Time, please slow down!!! She will be busy teaching her daddy the “bob & sue” dance for their big halftime performance on Friday. We can’t wait to celebrate her.

Hope you have a super week!
