The Queen’s Chronicles – 2022 Wrapup

Whew, December flew right by and finding time for this little corner of my world just took a backseat to real life. The Queen’s Chronicles is my favorite way to keep a little scrapbook of all we are doing so bare with me as I post a little 2022 wrapup.

The grandmas got to hang with our fave grand at her Christmas party. We just love this little munchkin so much.

Lots of baking this time of year and I brought back the pecan tarts. In the past I’ve ended up with way too much filling remaining but took my time this year and they turned out perfect!

Christmas eve service with almost all the crew. We laughed at how Dillon and Delayni look like cardboard cutouts!

Christmas even ended up being a framily event and we weren’t mad about it.

Christmas morning is always my favorite and I’ve finally made it through one without crying about my bigs not being here. We opened gifts and had the kids favorite mini chicken & waffles!

One last gathering on Christmas afternoon with the whole crew. I love seeing our family grow!

New Years Eve and the last sunset of 2022. This will oneday be the view from our home in the country! I have some small reservations about moving to the country and feeling isolated but this is one of the perks!

Carly & Holden talked Keith into fireworks and we had quite the show!

Then we ended the night ringing in the new year with our friends! My besties birthday is on NYE so we have spent many, many years spending NYE together and couln’t resist recreating a pic!

2022 was not the best or the worst year I’ve ever had and I have peace with that! We had some fun getaways, struggled, failed, laughed and triumphed. I’m grateful to live in a space where joy and pain can coexist.

Happy New Year to all of you!
