February is definitely a month for love and who is better at showing love in our house than my little Carly Jo.

Here is what she has to say!

Where is your favorite place to go?

Home because it is cozy and warm and all my family is here.

Who is your best friend?

Holden because we can share all our secrets.
Hmmm Holly should we be concerned? Here is a sweet little post on friendship that a little quote about their friendship inspired me to write.

If you could be a superhero what would your superpower be?

Zapping people…..like Dillon and maybe Riley.
(Don’t let her fool you she thinks those boys hung the moon and the feeling is mutual)

What is your favorite candy?

Butterfinger because I love peanut butter and chocolate and things that are crunchy.

Who is your valentine?

Mommy
(yep, she definitely knows how to work me!)
Isn’t it funny how you can have multiple children in the same family and they can be so different?  Carly Jo is funny and stubborn, kind and sometimes cranky.  One thing for sure she loves her friends and family fiercely and loves using words of affirmation to express her feelings.  She doesn’t hesitate to let me know when I’m screwing up either but is often quick to offer solutions.  This past week on our way to school (running a little behind) I was telling her how my emotions were just on the edge and I was having to work really, really hard not to “lose it”.  She responded “Mom, just remember, you have ALL the emotions (joy, sadness, fear, anger and disgust) and you have a control board and YOU get to sit there.”  No doubt she makes me rethink my seat at the control board often!
Can’t wait to read all the fun interviews!
