Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

·

Happy Friday! We are just a week away from one of my favorite holidays to celebrate, Mother’s Day! Do you know exactly what to buy your mom each year or are you like me and struggle a little? I’m rounding up some favorites I know I would love but also a couple I know my mom would love too. These gift will bring a little joy for any price range too!

Last night I had the chance to pop into the new Kendra Scott here in our sweet little town for a little VIP preview. We are the first in Texas to have the summer line available and it is so good! For now, there are also these sweet little pieces that are perfect for any mom. The Mama bracelet is perfect for the mom who loves all things bright and colorful but the Mom necklace would be a great option for the mom who like a simple touch. Either would work so well layered with other pieces. These pieces, as well as others, are on sale 20% off through May 2nd which shipping avaialble in time for the big day!

This savvy coffee mug with bluetooth is the perfect splurge for the busy mom constantly forgetting her reheated coffee in the microwave! I would never splurge on this for myself but would not turn it down if it showed up on Mother’s Day I can tell you that. I have a friend who recently received this from her husband and she loves that it keeps her coffee warm while she enjoys a cool spring morning on the porch.

Sharing photos has changed so much over time hasn’t it? Long gone are the days of picking up the photo package from Kmart and dolling them out in cute frames for holidays. Last year I gifted my mom a digital photo frame with Wifi and it’s been the gift that keeps on giving. We can all share photos directly to the frame using an easy email address so that she can still feel connected to what’s going on and see that precious great grandbaby grow each month.

Flowers are one of my fave gifts pretty much for any occasion and I really don’t care if they are just from the grocery store. I know many don’t share this love as they don’t always last long. There is definitely no shame in swinging by Lowes on your way to Mother’s Day brunch to grab your mom a hanging basket for sure! But if your mom is into faux plants, this one would make such a great gift! I grabbed this for myself this week and it is so good.

This mom loves some soft pjs and with the temps heating up (or lets just be honest…menopause) a cool pair in a beautiful fabric is a perfect choice for Mother’s Day. This brand is my favorite as it’s consistently good quality and always comes in a variety of fun patterns.

If your mom is a light sleeper like me, this white noise machine might make her happy! At home the ceilng fan pretty much provides the right amount of white noise but I would love this little gadget to take with me when I travel. The older I get, the more a good nights sleep is imperative.

Olive & June seems to have found a way to perfect the at home manicure as so many of my friends are raving about it. They have several sets all ready for Mother’s Day if your mom has found a new love for doing her nails at home instead of spending that extra time and money at the salon. I didn’t realize until recently you can grab Olive & June items at Target too. It would be super simple to order a few items for a curbside pickup as you head to see your mom!

While it’s not something you want to hang around and witness, the foot mask was one of my fave things last spring. Let’s be honest, my feet do not get the attention they deserve most of the time and they need a little pre-summer loving. I wouldn’t be offended to receive this for Mother’s day one bit!

In my book, a great read is always a good gift choice (see what I did there). Here are a few suggestions to fit any moms reading style: Share Your Stuff, The Four Winds, Everyday Holy, In Five Years, On the Bright Side, That Sounds Fun. I try to always share my fave books and you can always find those here.

These are just a few picks I know I wouldn’t be sad to see delivered to this momma for Mother’s Day! However, never, ever discount the gift of your time. For me, as the mom of older kids, the best gift my kids can give me is to continue to make time for me in their lives. It doesn’t have to be fancy or over planned, just time without distractions!

Not gonna lie, if someone decided to give me a weekend (or even a night) away at a hotel alone I wouldn’t turn it down! Ha! Hope you grabbed something fun or at least a new idea for your mom!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend!
