Last Wednesday I sat down to create a blog post all about my word of the year and instead opened up my laptop to see a white screen. I was hopeful it would be a quick fix. Once I finally made it into the Apple store to find out the logic board was shot. The good news is I have a brand spanking new computer and the backup of my old computer is safely online.

To say it has been a tad bit frustrating is an understatement but God may just be trying to teach show me how little I’m really in control to start off 2019!

Nothing a cute outfit won’t fix right? I snagged this faux fur vest mid December and received quite a bit of feedback on my insta-story try on. It was pretty much 50/50 as to whether I should keep it or not and, well, I decided for $39 it was worth a shot. It is currently out of stock online but you can use the link to possibly find in a store near you or request to be notified if it comes back into stock.

It is so soft and cozy and receives extra points for having pockets! The length may hit me a little too long and cause me to look a little bulkier but in the end I decided the positives outweighed the negatives. I’ve already worn it four to five times so we are already less than $10 per wear! #girlmath

My sweet daughter Jordan saw my Christmas wish list and surprised me with a new necklace! I really thought it was different from anything else I own and has been a fun piece to wear as it is adjustable. Lots of pretty pieces on sale and don’t forget if it’s your birthday month you get 50% off one piece!

Santa also saw my wish list and I am thrilled with this crossbody bag! It is lightweight, such a great quality and has plenty of pockets. I settled on the grey and it has really been easy to wear with just about anything.

Oh, and did I mention this super soft sweater ,perfect with jeans or leggings, is still in stock in some sizes and colors for $16! I’ve gotten every pennies worth since it arrived in early December!

While I would prefer to wear with black jeans, I busted the zipper on my favorite pair! Whoopsie! It seems I created almost an identical look for the holidays last year with a different fur vest.

Fur real, I love this cozy look and think it works well for just about anyone! Something about fur just makes me feel a little fancy while also staying toasty.
