Fun and Festive - Ageless Style December

If there is any illusion I have it all together for the holidays, let me clear that right up! I failed to really follow our prompt for December as the adorable jacket I picked to show you guys shed so badly all over my black velvet pants it was impossible. Plus, I definitely do not want to share something I’m not absolutely loving.

Enter this fun and festive top which does make the cut as something I’m loving and wearing a ton! I purchased 3 pieces from the Gibson X Glam line and this red top is one of 2 which made the cut. The lace is so soft and has a bit of stretch and the back of the top is solid. It looks great dressed up but will work equally as well with a pair of jeans.

One way I love to give an outfit a little added interest is by using another unexpected pop of color. I grabbed turquoise earrings for this look and lately they have been my favorite to pop on with red.

Of course I cannot say enough about these black pants I received in my last stitch fix. They are Kut from Kloth, have just enough stretch and were long enough for me which was a huge win. Typically this brand runs too short for me so I was so thrilled to find they fit. I shared a few tips for dressing with joy this holiday season last week and one of those tips is adding a statement piece. Five years ago I added these booties with just the slightest sparkle. While they were a tiny splurge, I wear them every holiday season and they always give my holiday outfits just the right amount of pizazz.
