Friday Favorites

We had a fairly low key week around the house.  The kids have settled into summer and we are all just enjoying some downtime.  Downtime every once in awhile is definitely my FAVORITE!

Here are a few other favorites this week!  

These dresses were definitely one of my favorites to blog about this week.  It was so fun to have a mini photo shoot with my little bit.  I have thrown this dress on multiple times this week after work.  So perfect for these hot evenings.  See all the details in my post here.  

We have been eating at home most nights which has been such a nice change after all the traveling we did in May and June.  These stuffed bell peppers hit the spot!  I have tried lots of recipes but this night I browned the meat and added a package of taco seasoning along with a can of Rotel and then mixed in brown rice for the filling.  I actually boil my bell peppers for a few minutes before stuffing because I prefer them not to be crunchy.  I stuffed and baked in the over for about 15 minutes after I topped with cheese.  Sriracha sauce is always one of my favorite things to use to give a little extra flavor.

 So the past 10 years or so I have tried to be better at taking care of my skin.  I was fortunate growing up to never have to worry about breakouts much but that left me with a really bad habit of going to bed with my makeup on.  I probably didn’t start using moisturizer or daily sunscreen consistently until my early 30’s.  I have been using the Rodan & Fields redefine line for awhile and I love that the set comes with everything I need from face wash to both day and night moisture cream.

So today this showed up on my doorstep just a few days after my welcome showed up on Facebook to announce I have signed on to be a Rodan & Fields consultant.  I’m excited to try additional products and share my love for them with others.   If you are looking for a new skincare routine please let me know and I’ll give you some suggestions.
