Friday Favorites – Roundup
Happy Friday! We have such a busy weekend ahead as Carly Jo will be performing in the Strutter Showcase at her high school. These girls have been working so hard to pull this show together and it’s always so fun to watch. I’m sure after three shows she will be worn completely out!
Dillon will also be playing baseball in Houston as they complete the next to last series before playoffs. It’s a tight race between the top 3 teams right now so the next week is really important. Being a top seed equals hosting a regional and that’s definitely where you want to be!
Other than all of this excitement, things have been fairly routine around here. In the spirit of Friday favorites I thought I would share an old fashioned roundup of a few recent things I’m loving!
A couple of weekends back, Keith and I took some time to getaway and spend some time remembering why we actually like being married to one another! Keith actually works in the Austin area and recently sold a tractor to this business who graciously gifted him two passes for a ziplining adventure. Neither of us had ever ziplined before so we were all for it! I am a tad bit afraid of heights in some instances but was surprised that this didn’t bother me in the least. There was no shaky platform and no stomach drop as I launched just a smooth ride with beautiful Lake Travis scenery. Definitely recommend if you are in the Austin area! Investing in our marriage is always a win!
My first hydrafacial was definitely a favorite! I had no idea what to expect but all that nasty water contained grime from my face. Y’all, I take pretty good care of my skin these days so seeing how dirty it still was shocked me. My skin was glowing again when I was done! She recommended a facial like this with the change of seasons so I’ll definitely be back. If you are local, I loved Robin at Luna Skin.

It was so fun to celebrate my bestie this week as she hit a milestone at PureBarre with her 100th class! She only started this journey in January so this is really impressive to me!
