All Things Spring – TBB Asks
Really? April? This time a month ago I was waking up oceanside in West Palm Beach and that seems like ages ago so I’m not sure why I would be so surprised to see April staring back at me. The first Monday means it is another round of The Blended Blog asks and this month the questions are all about spring! So grab the graphic, answer the questions and linkup!
ONE | Hmm…picking 3 colors is tough! I have to say pink, green and yellow would be the first to come to mind. We saw lots of spring colors on our recent girls weekend (which I promise to recap soon) and I loved this wall as much as I love this gingham shirt!
TWO | EASY! Definitely a pair of great wedges! I grabbed this pair and have been wearing them every chance I get. So far they have been super comfortable and did not require any breaking in. I love them so much I am tempted to order in grey or black too.
THREE | Definitely swap the tall and over the knee boots for the wedges and some booties this time of year!
FOUR | I love yard work and don’t mind mowing at all but typically the boys take care of this chore around our house! Up until last year we honestly had a lawn service after our mower broke but now that the teen is driving and needs to earn some dinero for gas we bought a new mower.
FIVE | The temps are so pleasant and the roadways are lined with bluebonnets! It’s my absolutely favorite time to take a Sunday drive. We do have some storms rolling in here and there but I don’t even mind knowing when the rain clears it will mean more green!
SIX | My favorite thing about spring is definitely the longer days and beautiful weather. It will be hotter as heck here in Texas before we know it so I really like to soak up as much spring as I can get.
SEVEN | Absolutely a spring cleaner! I really do just think the sunshine and pleasant weather motivates me to want to purge, organize and clean all the things! So far we have done some refreshing in our bathroom, organized the spice cabinet and deep cleaned the back porch and patio furniture.
EIGHT | Am I a baseball fan? Well, I’m a baseball mom and I honestly think it’s way better than being a baseball fan! These boys have my heart on and off the field and I just love watching them do what they love. Of course it does help that I do love the actual game as well.
NINE | Tulips are my favorite! Especially this time of year I replace them weekly.
TEN| I would have to say my favorite outdoor activity in spring would have to be grilling and dining outdoors. It’s about the only time it’s possible before the Texas size mosquitos really get rolling! A cold beer, some music and lights and my man flipping steaks sounds pretty perfect to me!
ELEVEN | Oh gosh, I seem to do much better keeping the ones in the ground alive! Not that I should get any credit because I’m fairly confident they just grow themselves with just a little water.
TWELVE | I’m not a huge bird person but I do love to see red birds in my yard. I think someone once told me it means someone you love who has gone is thinking about you. This may be completely wrong but in my mind when I see a red bird it makes me think of my daddy.
THIRTEEN | Well….if you came to my house today you would call me a liar if I said yes to either of these. We are absolutely terrible about taking our cars to be washed and we rarely if ever wash them by hand. I love to have my car detailed but it just never seems to slow down often enough to become a priority.
FOURTEEN | Friends….I live in Texas….we never put our sandals away! Haha! This simple pair from last summer have literally walked miles and they are so comfortable especially for the price!
