The Queen’s Chronicles – Life Lately

October is always such a big month for our family with four of us celebrating birthdays and now we have added on more with the addition of our future daughter-in-law. It is my favorite month because I end up having all of my kids all together multiple times and that is always my very favorite! Of course that also means that Miss Haisley is in tow and Honey is not complaining!

Mom went to Miami with a group of girlfriends for a little bachelorette weekend and I could not have been more proud of this guy for wanting to keep his girl on his own. He was a little nervous at first and the first night she stayed with Taylor’s mom but then he missed her too much. Of course Dillon went and stayed with him too…she pretty much has everyone wrapped around her finger!

I got to babysit Haisley a few times for parents night out while they celebrated their birthdays! Typically I see her once a week and still she seems to change each time. Her little expressions are just so cute!

Brunch for Riley’s birthday and after he noted a contest for the person who celebrated him the biggest, I couldn’t help but add the sign below to their yard!

My mom had an appointment in Houston and we were able to meet up with one of her favorite cousins. She totally enjoyed herself and it almost seemed like a normal day which was so good for all of us,

Fresh flowers are my favorite and Keith showed up with these on my birthday! I took a couple of days off work and did whatever I wanted to with zero expectations from anyone and just felt so happy all day long!

Keith is a good sport as his birthday is last so he often is overlooked but this year we all met up for dinner along with his mom and sister. It’s been a year for sure but we are so glad his story continued and he added another candle to his cake!

After the gym shut down for months I promised myself I would never take it for granted again. These girls make it easy because I love how much they love their job. They push me but also respect that I know my body and my limits. Last Friday I walked in to a “special” workout and let’s just say some of my gym buddies were wishing I was only 45 but thankful I wasn’t 60! If you don’t know, EMOM stands for every minute on the minute which means there was 51 seconds of work and 9 seconds of rest for the first three moves for 15 minutes. It was tough!

The bottom half was a combo of my birthday and my age. Kaleigh asked me ahead of time what my favorite movement was and for the record, it is NOT a man maker! You can head here if you want to try them yourself. 🙂

I met up with the “bigs” for happy hour on Friday and a chance to love a little bit more on this girl!

We headed to vote on Saturday and were thrilled to be able to take Dillon for his very first time! They were out of stickers but we got the job done!

These girls scheduled a little friend photoshoot Saturday afternoon and we had the best time wandering around campus taking literally 100s of pics! When they start pulling out the pinterest board you know you are in trouble. They have both just grown up so much and are both just beautiful inside and out. I have so much fun with them!

Carly has been lucky enough to land in a really sweet little bible study group and they organized a little trunk or treat at local church Sunday evening. It turned out so cute and they looked like they had a super time! Something that felt “normal” was nice!

This week I have to head back to my hometown for another doctors appointment with my mom but you can bet I’ll be back home to see our little bit come trick or treat at Honey’s house! Are you planning to host trick or treaters where you are located?
