It’s finally chilly enough in Texas to pull out a few of my favorite items and I’ve worn both this week!
I purchased this purple coat about 5 years ago and I love pulling it out each year. It’s just a fun way to dress up a pair of pants for work or even jeans and is lightweight enough to wear all day if I want.

This fur vest is several years old but every time I wear it I just feel cozy and pulled together. Plus I can always count on comments from the guys in my life at home and at work and they never disappoint…I think pheasant is my favorite reference. I have even had several people ask if they can touch it and they seriously pet me. 🙂
I’m also sharing a little of what I’d like to be wearing after opening my gifts on Christmas morning!
I really think it’s time to branch out to a pair of over the knee boots. This is the pair from Sole Society I continue to come back to and have had them in my “cart” for weeks but just haven’t been able to pull the trigger. I would be over the moon excited if they made it into someone else’s shopping cart!
The Blardigan…why I have not ordered this sucker after all the rave reviews from pretty much every blogger I follow I do…not…know! The one I really want is the ombre linked below but this picture was a little more blog friendly! I have just not been able to let myself spend $90 on this but, again, if it shows up in someone else’s cart I would ask no questions!

I really don’t like spending money on pj’s but can always use a new pair. I love, love the Victoria Secret pj’s because they come in long length. Loving the plaid too! In the spirit of keeping it real, I am 45 and while this pair is great for hanging around the house, this pair might accommodate the middle of the night hot flash a little better. True story…I told Keith I wanted some new pj’s but nothing hot and his replied “do you mean hot for you or hot for me”!

I have also had this scarf in my Nordstrom bag probably since September hoping it would go on sale! I am in love with buffalo check and definitely think this would fit perfectly in my stocking.

I can imagine myself sitting around in my pajamas or my blardigan while playing with one of the other toys on my list this year!
My Macbook is 6 years old and although I have replaced the battery once it will only stay charged about 10 minutes after removing from the charger. As you can imagine in blogland or when trying to work from home this is quite annoying. This is a big Santa purchase so I really hope he overlooks a few of my little emotional outbursts this year and keeps me on the nice list!

Digital photography changed all of our lives right? When I’m looking for a picture of my kids for a project it is so easy to go straight to the file. Unfortunately I did not go digital until about 2002 or so but I have always, always been crazy about taking pictures. I have held onto most of my negatives if you can believe that and in my free time (insert hysterical laughter) I was thinking something like this would change my life and help me create files for all of those negatives. If any of you have one of these or have seen any reviews I would love to hear about it.

I could also imagine spending my holidays watching my babies grow up before my eyes! I have been dying to have all of my home movies converted but just keep putting it off. This would be such an amazing gift!
What fun things are on your Christmas list this year?
