The Blended Blog Asks - Fall #fall

One | Do I have to pick just one favorite fall color?  I love them all!  Burgundy, or maroon as we call it round here, is worn a ton in Aggieland.  I also gravitate to mustard and olive this time of year as well.  And while I don’t actually wear much orange, I do love pairing it with turquoise in my home decor.

Two | No apple cider for me!

Three | I wouldn’t just make go out in search of a caramel apple but if I happen upon one I would eat it.  When we were in Ruidoso, New Mexico winter before last we found the most amazing shop with every kind of caramel apple you could dream of and they were amazing!

Four | Would you believe I’ve never tried or even seen either one of these donuts anywhere?  Hmm….I think I’d be all over the pumpkin!

Five | Long or short, I will wear a cardigan if I can find just the perfect fit.  I don’t do well with buttons at all and sometimes I have a tough time finding the length to work with my short waist and long legs.  When I do though, I will definitely be seen wearing it often!

Six | Give me all the tailgate food!  Chips, dips, mini sliders, and of course just simple barbeque is always a top choice.

Seven | If I’m carving a pumpkin or using for decor outside it is definitely going to be orange.  Inside I  have pumpkins of all different colors.

Eight | I’m game for a hayride or a bonfire any day!  Both sound super fun.  Of course around here bonfire holds some special memories but also a tragic one.  I’m glad I was able to experience the spirit of bonfire so many years but also will never forget the way our community rallied together when bonfire fell killing 12 students in 1999.

Nine | My momma’s pumpkin bread! Hands down the best I’ve ever had especially with some cream cheese spread on top! Maybe I need to make a loaf and share the recipe.

Ten | Birthdays!  We celebrate 5 out of the 6 of us in the fall and it’s always the best.  I’m turning 49 this year so I’m trying to come up with 50 things I want to don before my 50th birthday next year.  Any suggestions?
