Happy Friday!  We are kicking off our annual budget first thing this morning and I’m excited about seeing all of my favorite budget friends at the kickoff party.  It will be a busier than normal few weeks but this is a part of my year I really enjoy.   What better day to kick off than Friday!

I’ve never participated in a currently linkup but thought today I would share some of my favorite things currently going on!

Eating||  Since the beginning of the year I have been eating lots of “real” food while trying to cut down the carbs and sugar.  I’m proud to say I have only had about 4 slips in a month and I’m feeling alot lighter around the middle.  Here is a picture of the yummy low carb “nachos” I shared last week as part of the What’s Up Wednesday post for January.
Dreaming||Spring is just around the corner and I am dreaming of days filled with sunshine and longer days.  My boy will be leaving for spring training in Florida soon so I’m dreaming up a plan to possibly spend spring break in Florida this year.  Dreams still come true right? 

Smelling||Stinky shoes!  I walked into my sons room and it smelled something awful…one big stinky, sweaty sock!!  I don’t know if it’s sweaty feet and stinky socks or if their shoes are just permanently funk but it’s terrible.  I’ve been looking for help on Pinterest and found this pin suggesting spraying rubbing alcohol will do the trick.  I am just desperate enough to check this out.  Let me know if you have any secrets for solving this problem.  
Hearting||Have you read Jen Hatmaker’s book For the Love yet?  If you want a little more on how great I thought it was you can read my For the Love of Jesus, Jeans & Cabernet post.  Jen was finding so many women wanting this book but finding themselves in a financial situation preventing them from purchasing.  In typical Jen fashion she has found a solution and you can read her original post here or head streat to the Share the Love site here to join the share campaign.  
For the Love

We have family pictures tomorrow so I’m hoping the current forecast holds true and we have a nice sunny afternoon shoot.  With 12 people to herd let’s hope everyone brings their happy face!  Currently the wind is projected to be 10-12 mph and I really hope that changes or we will all be looking like super models!  I might have to bring on the blue steel….lol.  Is anyone else out there a Zoolander fan?
