Fall Floral with Gray Monroe
So I have a confession, I really am not a great boutique shopper. I have a bit of a wonky body for some clothes and ordering from a shop without a Nordstrom return policy makes me nervous. At the same time I really love supporting independently owned shops and today I’m sharing a for sure win I snagged from Gray Monroe!
I love best being able to see the item modeled in both the front view and the side view and the site even provides the stats for the model, Jenny. She is very petite so I know immediately if I think an item adds the slightest bit of weight to her otherwise teeny frame I am steering clear. This dress was adorable on her and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it!
I first styled it simply with some colorful Stella & Dot pieces like the Sanibel reversible pendant and my fave black booties. Did I mention this dress has pockets?!! Yes, mam….add a pocket and I’m typically sold immediately!
Last year my sweet mother-in-law gave me this vest for Christmas but I have struggled finding just the right outfit to wear it with. Ding, ding, ding, I believe we have a winner!
Lastly I added this lightweight jacket. I really am not overjoyed with the color combo but I definitely think in the right shade a jacket will also be adorable. The J. Crew field jacket I showed off last week also comes in a cream color that is so gorgeous.
Sadly, this dress sold out within hours! Gray Monroe also stocked in burgundy which is also sold out and they are no longer taking pre-orders. So sad! So many other cute things to choose from though and they often have favorites come available again.
I really think this dress is going to be heavy in the rotation this fall and winter. Let me know which way you think I should wear it first?
