Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – My Top Picks #NSale

Another week of summer down and it is now time for one of my fave sales of the year! Two years ago I had zero clue what this sale was all about but thank goodness I’m a quick learner! The best part of this sale is the items are for the coming season verses a typical end of season sale. So many great items and I’ve picked some of my favorites to share today. While I haven’t tried any of these (yet!), I’ve tried to stick with brands I love and have had great luck with in the past. Thank goodness I suck at budgeting for clothes because I’m pretty sure that just went out the window! My only disappointment is that Nordstrom doesn’t do this twice a year.

The shoes to me are the biggest perk of the anniversary sale; the prices are discounted and shoes often sell out quickly when they are popular. Last year I grabbed a pair of Halogen calf hair print flats and I’m telling you I never wear them without receiving a comment and these look fun! I ended up with Frye boots and booties in every color too and now I’m so trying to hold myself back on purchasing these Vince Camutos but the Toms burgundy are definitely coming to try. I also purchased a pair of tall Ugg boots last year similar to these and they were so darn comfy and lined with fur so they were perfect for winter. If you love to snag a pair of designer jeans every now and again, the anniversary sale is great for that as well. I am typically a $40 pair kind of gal but I invested in a pair of Paige jeans last year and I have really loved them. I’m thinking I need a great bootcut this year or maybe a boyfriend style without the holes such as these Rag & Bone jeans. Last summer I picked up a Halogen floral sweater that I love and always receive compliments on and it was totally sold out during the sale. I really think this one is adorable and you have to take a look at the back!

Nothing makes me feel like getting back on a program like some new workout digs! I found Zella leggings several years back and pretty much always grab a new pair when they are on sale. See the purple ones? I have them and seriously everyone always wants to know where I got them! I actually also like Nike brand crops but they are typically more than I want to spend even on sale. My current ones are about 4 years old so I may go ahead and splurge. And how fun are these sweatpants with POCKETS?!! I know nothing about the Alo brand but if I make it to a store I may have to try a pair.

Looking for gift ideas? I am always able to knock out Jordan’s birthday and Christmas during the anniversary sale as well as a few other peeps on my list. It is always fun to grab a great, in style, in season gift at a reduced price without having to stress closer to the holidays. These are just a few of the fun items I found. These candles would make great teacher gifts too! You can never, ever go wrong with Kendra Scott either and I was super excited to see this cuff on sale. One of my favorite things to receive as a gift is something functional I don’t really want to spend my own money on like makeup brushes or a clarisonic!
So many great items during this sale and I’ve seriously only skimmed the surface! I’m positive I will spend too much money and I’m also positive in November you will all love my outfits.
