Romper Love

I hope you don’t mind too much if this week is a little heavier on the fashion side!  I happen to have some great new items and already have pictures ready so it seemed like a win-win.

I tried this romper on in Old Navy the week of Spring Break in an olive green color.  I absolutely loved the fit and the color was amazing….but not on me!  As I headed out of the store I saw this print in the same romper and it didn’t really wow me but I grabbed it to try anyway.

I was super surprised when I put this on at home and quickly fell in love!  I have wanted a romper for so long but they are typically too short for my 40+ year old legs.  My legs are super long for my body so finding a length that highlights the length but doesn’t scream hooch is always a challenge.

 I just love the look with a pair of heels.  If you want an instant leg lift heels are always the secret weapon.  Your calves instantly look great and elongating anything is always a great idea.  I loved adding this clutch from Gray Monroe and think this will be a fun date night outfit this summer.

For a more casual look, say for a day date or a weekend away, I headed for these gladiator sandals and a hat.  

 Did I mention this romper has pockets??!!  I don’t know why but I am always a sucker for pockets.
