What I Wore Wednesday – Girls Night Edition

·
This week is spring break for my kids which meant a little more relaxed schedule for them and a bonus girls night out for me!  Obviously my favorite part of girls night out is catching up with a friend over dinner but my second favorite part is picking a fun outfit.  We chose a casual restaurant with a patio and it was the perfect night.
I have been itching to wear these leopard pumps but haven’t been brave enough to wear to work until they are broken in.  So far they haven’t been uncomfortable but I have a pretty good walk from the parking lot and haven’t wanted to chance it.
I paired this fun necklace with a simple white t-shirt and a casual black jacket.  I’m thinking maybe a new jacket is in my future as I’m realizing I’ve had this one just short of 11 years!!  Yep..that’s two ones friend..two!   My necklace is no longer available but you can link to all J. Crew Factory necklaces here.  Lots of fun colors and lately a sale code has been available.
I still love these Hudson bootcut jeans but they are no longer available.  Here are a few bootcut options.  I recently ordered a pair of Treasure & Bond boyfriend jeans and was impressed with the quality and fit.  If you have never shopped American Eagle for jeans it is also worth a shot.  Last year I purchased several styles and they are cut a bit higher and are currently by one get one 50% off.
I purchased my Kate Spade tote during a surprise sale last month and it is no longer available but there is currently a surprise sale going on until the 19th…a wedding sale…but don’t let that stop you from taking a peek.  I definitely saw a few things that were adorable!
As many of my friends are also blog stalkers, showing up dressed in similar outfits was bound to happen eventually!  My friend Cindy picked me up wearing jeans, a white shirt and these leopard Ugg wedges.  She gave them a raving review and they are officially on my wishlist!  Ugg is one of those brands you get what you pay for…..going to have to pull out the girl math and work on a price per wear calculation!
Cindy is a fellow baseball mom and we have watched our boys turn into men together.  She is also a cancer survivor and you can read a little about her journey in this post.  We always have a fun time catching up and it was a perfect night for dinner on the patio.
Happy Hump Day friends!
Wednesday is a fab day to link up….hop on over here to see who I might be joining today!
I’m feeling the love from one of my favorite bloggers who I am super proud of!  Holly created a fun Waiting on Wednesday Linkup Party and this week she actually chose my Waiting on Spring Break post as one of her features!  If you are looking for fun and inspiring post then head on over.
