How to Warm up Winter White

I love wearing white jeans in the spring and summer but shy away from wearing when the weather cools down.  Yesterday I showed you a look using bright colors to liven up the white jeans and tackle the winter doldrums.  If I’m not adding bright colors my second choice is to warm them up a bit.  Pairing white with a warm pattern such as leopard and using the darker layers definitely gives more of a winter vibe.  Especially during months when I’m not feeling my most fit self, having a pattern to draw the eye up also makes me much more likely to pull out the white jeans.

This combo was super easy to pull together and this sweater is lightweight enough I could have even layered a top underneath.  I kept my accessories somewhat neutral and while I could have worn a bootie I love how the over the knee boots seem to stretch out the look.

My old self would have skipped layers in fear they would add more bulk to the look but I think done right layers can actually create a slimmer look.

Do you have a favorite way to wear white in the winter?
