The Queen’s Chronicles – Week 29

·
One more week of summer down!  Work is Ca-Razy town right now with our budget wrapping up and I have lots to do this coming week to get my kidos ready to head to camp.  Here is a little of what our last week looked like!

Day #194

Busiest time of the year at work!  Note to self….do not bring the peanut butter to work!  There was no need for anything but a spoon and the jar was gone by the end of the week {gasp}!

Day #195

My girl posing for me so I could get the lighting right!  She is growing up so fast and it will just be a short two months and my last baby will hit double digits!
Everything is better with bacon right?  Bacon wrapped chicken topped with chili power and some zucchini and squash stir fry.
Tuesday night fun at B-I-N-G-O with our friends!

Day #196

Our local BCS Bloggers group met up at Downtown Uncorked for some wine and fun conversation!  We had so much fun and even threw around a few blog ideas.
Katy & I of course had to have a picture with the Queen theatre in the background!

Day #197

Long overdue date night with this handsome guy!

 Day #198

Friday morning I dropped this Sonic card off with the new college student now working the reception desk on the first floor of my building.  He has seriously made my morning several days as he is always smiling and always speaks.  I love keeping a few $5 gift cards handy to spread a little joy and it was the perfect week since my friend Holly’s Summer of Service Challenge this week was all about Random Acts of Kindness.  Be sure to hope over to her blog to see this weeks challenge!
I was running late for a special date with my Jordan and she sent this text.  I totally cracked up!  We are more alike than either of us realize most days.  So love my one on one time with her!

 Day #199

The boys went fishing and I decided to take a quick trip into Houston to make some Nordstrom returns so I took Dutch a long for a few morning errands to spend a little extra time together before I left town.  He love, love, loves going to the bank because they give him a treat!
This is a big fish….but holy moly who is this big kid???  I know I sound like a broken record but goodness I just feel he’s maturing a little every day.
It was a good day in the bay!

 Day #200

One of our favorite series each summer at our church, Brazos Fellowship, is the At the Movies series.  They have popcorn and drinks and show a short clip from a recent movie and the pastor inserts his take on biblical meaning in the movie.  It’s always a lot of fun and always insightful.
I’m missing my little bit but it looks like she is having a blast in Wharton with her cousin Morgan!  I’m pretty sure she’s getting spoiled just a little.
Keith, Dillon & I worked in the yard and were able to week and mulch in the backyard and clean all the patio furniture so it was a productive day.
That’s a wrap on our week!  Visit my contact page to see where I may be linking up!
