The Queen’s Chronicles – HOCO 2021

This week the Queen’s Chronicles is totally dedicated to HOCO 2021! I’ve never had a kid involved in football so it’s been a whole awakening now that Carly Jo is on the drill team. She danced on Wednesday night for a community wide pep rally where the A&M dance team also performed and there were even fireworks to end the night! On Friday the traditional pep rally was held after school and the girls performed a routine in their jerseys that was so cute. I had so much fun looking through the shots I took to see all the expressions on Carly’s face!

The Strutter family had a tailgate before the game where we were able to eat together and take some pictures with the girls before they headed out to the stadium. I’d like to say the game was exciting but we were winning 41-0 in the first quarter.

Saturday it was all about getting glammed up for the Homecoming dance. Carly did not have a date this year and really just wanted to go in a group with her grilfriends. I was happy we found her dress for $50 at a local boutique and she actually borrowed the shoes from a friend. Made up for the fancy nails, spray tan and hair appointment, ha!

They had a fun night out to dinner, a little dancing and then back to our house for a slumber party and junk food. It has just made me so happy for her to bring all her friends to hang at our house. It definitely keeps us young!

So I’ll apologize in advance for the picture overload! It was a busy week and we tried to capture it all. The Queen’s Chronicles are my favorite to look back on.
