The Queen’s Chronicles

Fall activities have begun and we seem to back in the swing of things!  Finally a free weekend at home and I feel like we are beginning to knock out a few projects.  Here is a little look back at our week.
I finally finished painting Carly Jo’s room!  I will do a full reveal soon when we have the new bedding and everything hung on the wall.  The best, it’s no longer pink and my girl is happy!
Tuesday was the annual Celebration of Hope supporting the Brazos Valley Foodbank.  The decorations turned out super cute and perfect for the occasion since we were raising funds for a new truck.
Wednesday night Jordan came to stay the night so I could take her to have her wisdom teeth removed the next day.  Evidently none of my friends at the house remember the rules about no eating outside the kitchen!
My sweet girl was so incredibly nervous!  I felt so terrible for her and she was pretty much out of service all weekend.
Thursday night the Cougars played 24-0.  I love seeing this boy in his uniform!
So fun watching these boys grow up!
Much to my dismay, Dillon refused to ask anyone to homecoming this weekend.  At least his friends still let him tag along for the game.
See what else was going on Saturday by following along with the Saturday in the life post written for the Blogtember challenge!
Saturday morning the Twelve scrimmaged in the fall league and Dillon pitched two great innings.  I just cannot get over how much bigger he looked even since June!
Ahhh….Miss Sassafras!  I love her to pieces.  She was excited to take a few selfies with my remote while I was changing for outfit pictures.

Having Jordan all weekend at the house meant we also had sweet Pesto.  This girl has snuck right in and stolen all our hearts!  She really, really wanted some ice cream.

Seriously….I went to be sure Dillon was up this morning and found this!  He was watching videos on his phone and enjoying a 1/2 gallon of Blue Bell..in bed!  Have I told you guys my kids are not allowed to eat outside the kitchen??  Mercy.  He’s lucky he’s so cute.

Sunday Dillon and I volunteered to be part of a street cleaning crew to pick up trash from all those Aggies who may have imbibed too much on their way to and from Kyle Field on Saturday!

Ended the weekend catching up with this lovely girl.  We were “bad moms” and grabbed a quick beer after dropping the boys off at their Young Men’s Service League meeting.  #worthit

I’m so ready to tackle the week ahead!  I’m fairly confident we only have our normal activities this week and another free weekend ahead.  That my friends is something to look forward to!

Hope you all have the best week ahead!
