The Queen’s Chronicles

One more week down for 2016!  Two realizations this week; things have definitely gotten a little slower for us with the time change and I definitely need to start toting around my “big” camera again. I’m super sad at the quality of some of these pictures but definitely don’t want to forget this week!
Keith was chosen to serve on a jury this past week which meant three days in town instead of his normal commute.  We were able to steal away for a lunch date on Tuesday and I’m pretty sure I was talking a mile a minute.  We have been missing our date nights and with deer season he hasn’t been around much on the weekends.
Well hello!  These pictures totally crack me up when they show up in my photo feed!  This is a deer Keith’s dad has been seeing on the night camera and holy molly, the boys (Keith, Riley, Dillon…and yes, Paw) have all had a group text talking smack to one another about who might snag the big boy first.

No, it’s not the most pleasant thing in the world but ladies get your mammogram!  I make sure to gift this to myself once a year no matter what.

This girl was so super excited to wear red, white and blue to celebrate Veterans Day!  I am so loving this new little moto jacket we found for her.
Back to where it all began!  My friend Lisa and I met 27 years ago (not sure how that’s even possible when I’m just 28 in my mind) and we went to our first yell practice together.  It’s just so crazy how at ease the two of us are with each other and I love having her come visit!  I think Dutch is going to miss her most, however, because she totally let him lick all over her the entire time.  Ha!
Love these two and can only imagine they will have this same kind of friendship.  Of course Carly Jo reminded me she could never go without seeing Holden more than once a year!
Sunday funday and we headed to the Aggie Corn maze.  It was the last day and the weather was perfect.
Love this girl and love that she always wants to do these fun little things.  I know I would have good intentions but would probably not have nearly as many experiences if not for her planning!

Dillon was up at 3:30 to go duck hunting with his big bro and I could not get him up to join the fun.

Carly and I ended the day baking our first bundt cake (this one) and it tasted amazing but fell quite a bit after it cooled.  A friend gave me a tip that I needed to be sure to flour the pan and not remove it too soon.  I just love that this girl will spend time in the kitchen with me!

Hope you all have a super week ahead!
