Stitch Fix Spring – Style Six

· ·

As the seasons change, I love hopping on to order a box from Stitch Fix for a fun surprise on my porch that I didn’t have to choose myself. While I didn’t need anything in particular, I did ask my stylist to look for some shorts, white or colored denim and fun spring dresses. I’m sharing the winners and losers with you today along with linking up my Style Six sisters!

First up is this darling little dress. I wasn’t optimistic when I first saw it regarding the length so it was a nice surprise to find it long enough to be work appropriate. The A-line is the best fit for me and I love that the faux wrap is actually high enough to make the girls also work appropriate! Still, I debated if I really needed to add this to my closet.

That was until I popped my white blazer on top and it totally sold me! This will be such an easy look all summer long. Cool enough for those hot Texas days but also will keep me comfortable in the A/C at work. This is an exclusive brand to Stitch Fix and I have kept several dresses in the past from the same brand so I know the quality is very good and the price is a steal.

Next up are these shorts by Liverpool Los Angeles. This is a new brand to me after keeping a pair of pants I received in my winter box. I have loved the quality and the stretch. These shorts are no exception but I wasn’t crazy about the color. They had plenty of stretch and were a decent length but the price tag was a little steep for a pair of shorts I didn’t absolutely love.

I love a good tank with some flare and this one was super cute. Isn’t the detail darling? I have so many sleeveless tops in my closet right now, however, including another navy one from Stitch Fix that I have only worn once so it was an easy decision to send this one back.

Nothing at all about this next top entertained me. This is not a style I can pull off easily anyway but thee colors of this one did absolutely nothing for me. It is a great linen fabric that would breathe well in the Texas temps but just not a top for me.

Lastly, this colorful pair of Liverpool Los Angeles jeans. Again, loving this brand! The fit is a mid rise with just enough stretch and they definitely fit me well even in my “normal” size 8. I really, really debated this pair of jeans but in the end just decided the color was not going to be the best for my closet. This may go down as a regret return but I know I’ll live!

Nordstrom actually carries pieces from the Liverpool LA brand and if you are looking for denim I would give them a try. I ordered this pair of denim shorts to try because I’m still on the hunt for the perfect pair this summer.

Stitch Fix is an easy and fun way to try out some pieces for your closet as the seasons change. I love seeing what they pick for me and even when the box is a flop, it gives me a chance to try brands and styles I might not have given a chance.
