Spiel the Beans – Little White Lies

Welcome to the Spiel the Beans Linkup today….shhhh…Katy and I are sharing little white lies we may tell today.  Don’t let us down; surely we are not the only ones who create a little peace in our lives with a little white lie.   We would love for you to linkup yours!  

So, I’ll let you in on a little secret.  This was ridiculously hard for me! Rule number one of hosting a linkup should totally be choosing a topic which will be a breeze to write.  I am evidently honest to a fault with most everyone I encounter and really had to dig deep for this post!  

Probably the biggest white lie I use often is using an excuse that I’m headed out to do a chore that is beneficial to the entire family when I’m really headed to get a pedicure or a drink with a friend.   I use to be really good at this one but my old age is catching up with me!  More times than not, now, I forget to actually DO the chore!!  Busted.  

I am pretty sure little white lies mostly have surfaced when dealing with the lazy ass Tooth Fairy!  I don’t know if you guys have to make excuses for your tooth fairy but ours is ridiculous.  I’m pretty sure the best I came up with was dealing with a tooth with a silver filling and I mean, the tooth fairy doesn’t take the silver ones she just leaves the money somewhere else in your room.  

Is that new?  Why this old thing?  Yep, I’m very, very guilty about hiding my shopping habit and on one more than one occasion when Keith or the kids ask if my outfit is new I totally fib.  

Pretty lame post if I must say so myself.  I really hope some of you girls show me up HUGE and post something to give me the giggles today!
