Show & Tell Tuesday – If I Hosted a Talk Show

Joining the always fun Andrea at Momfessionals for her Show and Tell Tuesdays series.  This week is so fun as we are talking about our fantasy talk show!  
I don’t have the opportunity to enjoy talk shows on a regular basis but when I do one of my very favorites is Life with Kelly & Michael.  I watched back when it was Regis and Kathie Lee and Regis and Kelly and I loved it then too but these two together I really love.  If I had my own talk show I would definitely be looking for a co-host that really made me laugh.  I have loved watching Brad Paisley co-host awards shows with Carrie Underwood and he reminds me alot of my husband sometimes so I’m positive he would crack me up.  You’ll have to forgive my terrible photoshop skills and just use your imagination!  Don’t you think this could work? Haha
I really think it would be awesome meeting so many interesting people but I’d lie if I didn’t admit the first thing that comes to my mind is how much fun it would be to wear fabulous clothes I could never really afford!  Diane Von Furstenburg, Dolce and Gabbana, Valentino, Jimmy Choos……I can only dream.   

A talk show just wouldn’t be a talk show obviously without great guests so who would I want to have on my show?

Since Brad and Carrie have a relationship she would definitely say yes to coming for a visit.  I know how much I love her music and her killer legs but I would love to hear more about her life as a mom! 

 This should be no surprise although I think I would like to interview Coach Eric Taylor and not necessarily Kyle Chandler.

These two have been a fast favorite for me the past few months.  They are adorable together on air and really support one another.  I love listening every morning and would love a good talk show collaboration centered around their Pimpin Joy series and have a joint joy week!  Bobby and Amy and the rest of the crew make my morning!

Lysa TerKeurst has really written some books that make me dig deep and think but also allow me to realize I can love Jesus without being perfect.  The Best Yes, Unglued, Made to Crave; I have just been able to connect with her reading all of these.  I’d love to talk with her about her imperfect marriage, her parenting fails and her missionary work.

Melanie Shankle or Big Mama as most of you probably know her is just the most adorable, genuine, Texas girl.  I love hearing her Texas twang when she speaks.  Her books have made me laugh and cry and I’d love to talk to her a little about the new book she has in the works.  We might have to find a way to arrange the show to be broadcast during an Aggie sporting event.

 Not gonna lie, I am all kinds of sucked into this little Netflix series.  It has been a little more suggestive than I remembered so I sure would love getting them all together to get the deets on that!

But what would definitely boost ratings would be to invite these two on to discuss fashion and surprise them with the rest of the cast!  I mean….how can Michelle NOT make an appearance on Fuller house??

I could go on all day I’m sure but let’s be honest….being a talk show host would be a huge stretch for me. I have major stage fright AND I am a terrible listener.  Plus witty is something I can only dream of adding to my toolbox!
