the Queen’s Chronicles – January Recap

January is always one of my favorite months. While I’m not a fan of it being super cold, I am a fan of a good restart and January always feels that way for me. Typically it is our only month off from dance or baseball in years past and it gives me a time to catch my breath and get a little organized before hitting the ground running.

We had lots of sweet time with our Haisley girl who is just becoming so grown up! She will be FOUR soon and I can hardly believe it. I never want to forget the way her sweet little hand fits in mine. I love her soft little snores and her BIG imagination. She is of course very smart for her age and definitely knows what she likes!

Dillon turned 22 and we didn’t take one single picture even though we gathered the entire familly together for a special dinner. It’s hard to believe my sweet boy is 22!

With a few extra days home due to icy weather, I actually managed to pull out the valentines decor and do some meal prepping. Loving how the house feels cozy! And I also had some extra time for meal prepping and planning so I’m ready to get back to regularly scheduled programming!

Poor Carly had another kidney stone which sucked but I do love a chance to take care of my babies no matter how old. The thought that crossed my mine; next year I won’t be close enough!!

And Keith & I snuck away for a night to Austin to attend a fundraiser. With a full house we have not had as much time to reconnect and we needed it!

January was good to us!
