January Stitch Fix Unboxing

·

It’s been a bit since I’ve received a Stitch Fix box I felt was worthy of sharing, but the January Stitch Fix was definitely worth unboxing for you! I received the standard five pieces which included two pair of flared jeans, two tops and a sweater. When ordering my box, I actually requested white denim but maybe it as just too early as they were not able to find any for me but here is a look at what I did receive.

First up are these black flares but Democracy. I’ve been back and forth between a size 8 and a size 10 so my stylist sent these in a 10. They were stretchy and a great fit but maybe just a tad too short. I already have a great pair of black flares in my closet so these were returned but I definitely would say they are a great qualtiy jean for $78.

This darlngi floral top by Lush was also in my box. It was a great fit in a medium and I did love the colors but I wasn’t crazy about he neckline on me. The bottom of the top was also cut straight across which isn’t the most flattering on me and would have to be tucked in which is just not my favorite right now.

I love wearing flare jeans but sometimes struggle with that shoes too wear. Pointed toe boots seem too work so well! Flares work well to elongate the legs and the pointed toe continues the long lines.

Next up is this pair of bootcut jeans from Kan Can which is another new to me brand. Apparently it’s well loved because when I shared in my Instagrarm Stories I had multiple people tell me Kan Can were their fave jeans! They were a great fit and these are a size 8. Again, I felt like they were a little short on me but maybe this is just the style!

I loved this sweater so much! The brand is Pink Clover and it was so soft. I also loved the texture and even though it was horizontal stripes, I felt like the size of them made it more flattering. Keith, however, was not a fan of the colors on me and while I don’t typically even ask his opinion I was waivering on this one so he had the deciding vote!

Lastly was this blouse from Fun2Fun. It is a perfect top for layering under a blazer or cardigan and apparently I love the pattern because I already kept in a previous box the short sleeve version!

Stitch Fix is a fun option if you are wanting to try some new styles, add a trendy piece for the changing season or just hate shopping for yourself. The service has come a long way and there are so many more ways to let them know what you like and what you don’t to insure you get a box that is fit for you. They also allow a preview of the pieces now which can really keep you from getting a box full of colors or styles you really do not like. It can definitely be a process but once you find a stylist who “gets” you it becomes much more fun!

You can receive a $25 credit on your first box (yes I receive one too if you place an order) with this code.
