Had anyone told me in January my dreams of working from home full time would come true I would have laughed yet here we are! Working to find balance in an imperfect setup. It took about 48 hours to realize my current home office was not ready for full time since it barely consist of more than a laptop! My time management skills are also not what I would profess them to be with teenagers and all those home projects looming.

One thing I have found is staying in my yoga pants wasn’t making me feel very productive. I truly love getting dressed for work every day and it makes me feel more productive when I do so why would I change that at home?

Of course, no need to go crazy in a business suit! I love how this simple look with jeans will allow me to be comfortable enough at home but still look professional on that zoom meeting I may have forgotten about! This blazer is a great staple but is easy to toss as soon as that meeting is over! J. Crew Factory has a great sale right now and I’m really thinking this linen blazer would be a great addition for summer.

I’m not going to lie, putting on my heels to take these pictures made me a teeny bit excited. Wearing heels has been a favorite since I was old enough to clunk around in my moms. I’ve missed them!! I grabbed these sandals last year during the Nordstrom anniversary sale and they have been such a staple and so comfortable. They come in a ton of colors and the heel is now a little blockier but still cute.

The real winner for my work from home look is this little sleeveless shell. It works under a blazer or cardigan but looks equally as darling all on it’s own. I have way too many in my closet but that didn’t stop me when I found it on sale!
