Grinch Green!
Last week I shared a holiday look with a pop of red. Today I thought I’d counter with a little green. Carylee at More Pieces of Me posted a similar flat look a few months back and knew I had the pieces to give it a whirl. If you are looking for inspiration she is definitely one of my favorites!
.I grabbed this striped “dress” last year but as you can see it is more of a long sweater/tunic on me. Nothing a pair of leggings or tights and some tall boots won’t fix! This almost identical Vince Camuto dress is on sale right now.
This may be my favorite new look for this dress! Black & White stripes can just be so versatile and work well with plaid and leopard patterns as well. I also love the little pop the camo cuff adds and trust me it is a gift the girls in your life will love!
Adding the cargo vest or a field jacket will definitely make me feel less self conscious about the length as well and this green brings a little holiday vibe.
Stripes and plaid are two of my favorite patterns to mix so adding this infinity scarf makes it perfect for an every day look but also works to add some holiday flare. The scarf is currently under $10 but is backordered until December 30th. It comes in two plaids so I definitely think I’m snagging a couple to have on hand for gifts in 2017.
I’m thinking this look would even make the Grinch smile what do you think?
