I definitely always find myself as the queen in between loving the holiday season and feeling like there are not enough hours in the day to enjoy them. I’m working on finding some easy gifts for friends, teachers and others here and there that are thoughtful and easy to pull together and thought I would share on todays Friday Favorites!
ONE…..I thought this reindeer wine glass from Pier 1 would definitely make a fun gift for the wine drinkers on my list. These gift tags from Nordstrom would be cute when giving a wine glass or a bottle of wine.
TWO..With holiday parties and extra guests in the house it is always fun to have some festive hand soap. This would also make a great hostess gift for a party you are attending. I found this fun printable that is still available for download that would work perfect with hand soap for a cute and quick gift.
THREE…Socks are something everyone needs but personally I don’t like spending money on new socks. A cute pair of socks on a cold day would definitely make me smile. Right now these are on sale at the GAP and as Christmas approaches there will be lots of sales that include cute socks. My very favorite red is OPI I’m Really Not a Waitress…..pair a bottle of polish with some socks and you have the perfect gift for someone’s “mistletoes”. This cute printable is still available for download and would be perfect for this gift! My kids have 20+ cousins on one side of the family so Carly and I actually picked out cute fuzzy socks for the girls and plan to find some appropriate polish to pair for them too.
FOUR….If you are like me and love to make homemade goodies for friends and family here are some fun printables to use. In the spirit of making my holidays less stressful, I am going to attempt to deliver cookies between Thanksgiving and Christmas instead of waiting for the all day bake-a-thon while I am on vacation! I typically make 3-4 different items but everyone typically loves my Meme’s chocolate cookies (I’ll be sharing the recipe later this month) the best so I may just make it even easier for myself and bake one item this year!
Here are a few cute printables I found.
FIVE….Finally, here are a few fun suggestions for a fellow blogger that are fun! I found this fun selfie snap handheld remote for smart phones. I have no clue if it works well or not but for $20 I might be checking this one out for fun.
Found at Nordstrom Here
And these pens are A-mazing! I bought them after Andrea recommended them and I absolutely love writing with them. I actually have this set and a smaller set I carry in my purse but I definitely recommend this stand up version.
I hope some of these ideas will help you cross some gifts off your list! I know I just made a list and will be checking it twice in hopes of completing my shopping soon!
I am saving it for a future post, but one of my very favorite Christmas traditions is sending and receiving cards. I love showing off my family and love seeing how everyone else has changed. Here is a little flashback Friday picture from 2004 when we had a “Happiness is Homemade” theme for our Christmas card. Really….Keith was excited about it!
Happy Friday! Linking up with some other bloggers below!
