Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  My kiddos have been gone to camp this week so it’s been super quiet and fairly low key at my house.  It is still a fairly busy time at work but the nights have been filled laughing with friends and spending some quality time with my hubby.  I only cooked one time this week so cheers to that!  Pick up is tomorrow morning and it’s always my favorite to hear how their week has been.

Here are just a few things I’m loving lately!

Wireless Headphones
On Wednesday I mentioned my new found love of podcasts.  Up and Vanished has pretty much had me sucked in from the very first episode!  I needed some headphones to really make the experience worth it and decided a wireless pair was the best option.  While I assume the beats version has a much better sound, for $20 these have been perfect.

Ever since using Lash Boost and having great success with longer lashes, I seem to be struggling with removing all the mascara daily.  I always used the liquid remover and it was just making my eyes feel greasy.  I visited my friend Lisa a few weeks back and to my surprise she uses Ponds to remove her eye makeup.  I’m totally sold and have not missed a night yet taking off my makeup!  Plus it’s so cheap!

Yesterday I shared the Christmas in July gift exchange and I’m loving this pineapple pillow! How fun!

I’ve been using Ghee Butter a lot more recently after following along with Fed & Fit.  I LOVE frying eggs in this stuff now. If you like super crispy edges they fry up perfectly using ghee.   Keith says it’s the same as bacon grease but I’m loving how pretty and clean the eggs look.  ha!

Heading to pick these two up tomorrow and can’t wait to hear about their week.  Both have been fairly vacant from the camp pictures but I have no doubt they are having a blast.

We received and answered prayer this week and I slept really soundly for the first time in days on Wednesday night.  If you happened to read my mention on this a few Wednesdays back and kept me in your prayers I am so grateful!  I’ll share more when I can as today is one more step in the process and it is just not my story to tell.
