Friday Favorites
Friday again? I mean y’all, I’m not complaining but the week flew by and this time of year that starts to stress me out. I mean…there are only 111 days left until Christmas!
Good thing I set some {goals} for myself this month and so far I’m off to a great start. I have managed to meal prep on Sunday for the kids lunches as well as mine for two weeks in a row and I’m telling you this has definitely made lunchbox duty easy and the mornings much more peaceful! Keith has even been packing his lunch again which makes me a happy wife! We managed a date night, I have logged 4 workouts so far this week and I had some one on one time with Carly bug. It has been a great week and I have NOTHING on the calendar this weekend besides watching the Aggies play and possibly a dove or two if we can find some.
Enough about that….here are my favorites this week!
{Fantastic Fellow}
We really hit the jackpot this semester with kids activities as the bulk are on Mondays and Tuesdays. This was our last “free” week before dance, football and baseball really get rolling so we managed to have a quick dinner alone. Sushi is one of our very favorites and we have not been in forever so I totally pigged out. If you like to try different beers this is one I love! Keith isn’t a huge fan but for some reason I really love it.

{Functional Workplace}
Not going to lie….this box arrived on Monday and I was so incredibly excited! About 5 years ago I was running hill sprints as part of a bootcamp and developed bursitis in one of my hips. It gets better at times but sitting all day definitely aggravates it and it can be very distracting. My new ergo stand up desktop makes me super happy! I stood the entire afternoon today and I really think it will increase my focus. So the shout out goes to my super boss who okayed this purchase! {Fun Fashion Finds}
So as part of my September goals I am going to attempt to only shop my closet. Good thing a friend of mine (Hi Erin!) sent me and emergency instagram message last weekend to let me know about a steal she got on these shoes from Dillards! I have seriously been wanting these shoes since probably February but was not willing to slap down the dinero but that day Dillards was having the extra 40% off the marked down price sale and they were already reduced significantly. I quickly logged in and my size was still available and within seconds they are on their way to my house! I am just imagining how excited I will be come March when I have totally forgotten I purchased these! Here are a few shopping links in case you love them and your size is still out there.
{Football}
I seriously cannot believe how much these two have grown in just one season! These two are definitely my favorite little football players! Can’t wait to see them back on the field again next week. Even though they play against each other these two know win or lose they will always stand strong for one another.
