Dressed Up Stitch Fix Review - The Queen in Between

In February I shared a Spring Stitch Fix review which was definitely my best fix yet! Stitch Fix has been a hit or miss for me since receiving my first box years back.  After reading lots of reviews and revising my profile many, many times I think I have finally created the perfect recipe for receiving a great fix.  I really was hesitant to add lots of notes in the past but now I add as many words as I can both when ordering my fix and when returning items to help my stylist know my fit and style better each time. Most importantly be sure to add your price points!

So what did I ask for in my latest fix?  With Easter arriving soon I asked for a few dresses and also some items I could wear to work.  My work wardrobe has seemed a little boring lately and I was ready for some new pieces.  I also asked for a pair of sandals to try.  Let’s take a look at what was in my box!

Stitch Fix Review - Dressed Up

First up was this Collective Concepts Katelynn Dress.  I absolutely loved the pattern as soon as I saw it! The colors were perfect for me.  I decided to try dressing it up a little first and thought these fun shoes were the perfect pattern mix.

I loved the material but the fit was a little off.  It’s possible a size smaller might have worked better.

I decided to try dressing it down with a pair of simple sandals but added a little fun with a hat.  After multiple times trying this on, I returned.

Next up were these pants and I have to admit I was a little iffy about them from the start.  You guys, they are PULL ON and so comfortable!  I love how they look with this bright top and my nude flats.

This red, white and blue look is also fun. In the end I returned these as I just wasn’t quite sure for the money I was ready to commit.  The brand is Margaret M. which I had never heard of before but they are pretty darn fabulous and fun.  After checking out the brand online there are many slimming pant styles to choose from.  I’m questioning my decision after looking at these pictures but these were returnedStitch Fix Review - Dressed Up

This top!  I was in love as soon as it popped out of the box.  The color is beautiful and it was the same brand, Current Air, as one of my favorite tops from my last fix.  It has lace detail to make it just feminine enough and it would be great for a girls night out or under a jacket dressed up for work.  Sadly, the back just did not fit well.  It was buttoned down the back and where the banding met at the bottom it buckled on me.  I’m sure this was a result of my super short waist but I was super sad.  Had this top fit I may have kept the entire box!  In the end it was returned.

This Wisp scuba dress is just the kind of look I could have been found wearing to work a few years back.  I love, love, love this look but wasn’t sure it would work for me these days.  I’m so glad I tried it anyway!  After showing it off on my insta-stories everyone was pretty much sold on this dress too.

Now, let’s just say there may be some Spanx involved but this dress made me feel great!  I’m envisioning layering with a white faux leather jacket in my closet and rocking this for a conference in May which I’m co-chairing.  I hope you will agree this was a keeper!

Stitch Fix is a splurge for me but I really love receiving some items that 1) I didn’t have to spend my time shopping for and 2) that are a little different than something I would have picked and 3) the items are usually something I cannot just pick up.
