Beachin’ – The Queen’s Chronicles
Good morning! I spent last week beachin’ with my family and decided it’s been way too long since I flooded your feed with an update from The Queen’s Chronicles. Having all my kids together is my absolute favorite no matter the location but being away from our every day just made it that much sweeter.
Finding time to gather this crew is typically not the easiest due to baseball schedules for the boys. It is likely Thanksgiving and Christmas break will be our best bet for the years to come but this year a family vaca is one good thing COVID-19 brought us.
It was quickly noted that even after almost 30 years of parenting, I failed to realize the beach wasn’t the very best vacation with an infant. We still managed to have a fun time relaxing, laughing, playing games and the boys slayed on the water fishing. I also remembered my love for taking pictures and just enjoying the scenery on my morning walks on the beach to watch the sunrise.
My sweet Jordan offerred to do all the meal planning which was such an amazing treat! She did such a good job I think this will forever be her new job on our getaways. We ate all of our meals at the condo which had lots of seating and a great backyard complete with a grill. Breakfast tacos and canned cinnamon rolls burgers got us rolling at breakfast while burgers, fajitas and spaghetti kept us full at dinner. We filled in with lunchmeat, fruit, veggies and other snacks during the day.

Having a big family has always been my dream and this just fills my heart. Seeing our family continue to grow gives me all the darn feels!
Of course there was a ton of moments just like this!! There is nothing like being the first grandchild. Every single member of our family is totally smitten with Miss Haisley Grace and we were all content to just sit around looking at her!
We can be a little overwhelming too! I couldn’t quit laughing at the look on her face. She looks a lot like her daddy but think she is a good combo of both parents. I have a feeling she is going to be a girl on the go!
Heading into the week ahead feeling loved by this family of mine. They know how much family means to me and they made this time together special just by setting it aside for one another. Already counting down to the next time we can all be together.
