The Queen’s Chronicles – Week 24

·
We have definitely burned some miles on the road and earned some hotel rewards lately!  We are all tired of dining out but not ready for all the fun to end just yet.  Here’s a look at our exciting week!
Day #159
Our Aggie friends came back to Fort Worth to watch TCU vs A&M for the last game of the super regionals!
After an emotional 16 inning game the Horned Frogs pulled out the win.  There may have been some tears.
These boys are roomies and they have both been great friends to Riley.
Day #160
We got home at 4:30am and got a couple hours of sleep before I had to go to work.  It was a long, long day but smack dab in the middle the Astros picked up Riley in the 3rd round of the MLB draft and we all felt instantly relieved to have the unknown behind us! I couldn’t help but take a little trip down memory lane.
Day #161
I headed to campus to take a few pictures for a friend and Carly & Dutch tagged along.  Love thee two so much!
Day #162
I don’t know why it seems so hard to make time to get this girls haircut but it always slips right off my radar and next thing I know a year has passed.  She did not want to pose for me but I just love her sweet little face and was so happy to see her hair looking so healthy again.
Then I picked up this girl for our monthly date night.  Poor thing has had an eye infection and was not feeling 100% but I sure did enjoy hearing about what has been going on in her life.
Day #163
Dutch Buddy turned 1 on the 13th but since we were going to be leaving super early we celebrated his birthday on Friday night.  He wasn’t too interested in wearing this hat!
But he did have some interest in the cake!  Oh my goodness how I love this boy!
My friend Holly and her family joined the celebration with their new puppy Maggie.  It appears Dutch was ok with sharing his birthday cake but that was short lived.  We have a little ways to go to get these two to understand they are family!
Day #164
We packed up and headed out early for a little road trip to Omaha!
By the time we arrived we were all starving and headed to Big Fred’s pizza for dinner.
It was very different from the pizza we are used to in Texas but it was good….or at least I think it was!  I was so hungry I’m not sure I actually even tasted it.
Day #165
Ready for game one wearing my lucky tank!

Such a fun place to watch baseball!
I love, love to see him interacting with fans.

Looks like I need to work a little harder on my pitcher mom face!  I was super nervous even though we were up 10-3.   Riley threw 2 balls and then proceeded to throw the next 9 pitches for strikes to end the game.  Exhale mom!
Hoping this week is just as exciting at the ballpark!
